1. Welcome to Fine Academy

Welcome to Fine Academy, an educational and productivity platform designed to help people learn, teach, create, communicate, and work more effectively.

Fine Academy may provide educational resources, AI learning assistance, document creation and printing tools, file analysis, communication features, digital services, and other features made available through the platform.

These Terms of Service explain the rules governing your use of Fine Academy. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the services.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for activities carried out through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Users under the age of 18 must use the platform in accordance with applicable age requirements, parental consent requirements, and relevant laws. Parents, guardians, schools, and teachers should supervise children's use where appropriate.

We may suspend or restrict accounts reasonably suspected of fraud, abuse, security violations, or serious breaches of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

- Use Fine Academy for fraud, scams, impersonation, harassment, threats, or unlawful activities. - Upload malware, malicious code, or files intended to harm other users or systems. - Access another person's account, documents, messages, or location without proper authorisation. - Use AI tools to facilitate cheating, plagiarism, deception, or other prohibited conduct. - Violate copyright, intellectual property rights, privacy, or confidentiality. - Attempt to bypass payment systems, subscriptions, usage limits, or security controls. - Interfere with the platform's availability, integrity, or security.

We may investigate credible reports of abuse and take proportionate action where necessary.

4. Educational Services and AI Tools

Fine Academy may provide AI-generated explanations, summaries, study materials, quizzes, translations, recommendations, and other educational or productivity outputs.

AI-generated content can contain errors, incomplete information, outdated information, or misleading conclusions. Users should review important outputs and verify facts using reliable sources.

Fine Academy is a learning and productivity aid. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it does not guarantee examination success, employment, admission, certification, or any particular academic or professional outcome.

Users remain responsible for how they use AI-generated content and for complying with their schools' academic-integrity rules.

AI tools are not a substitute for qualified legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

Some past papers are real official examination papers linked to examination boards and identified by their source. Fine Academy-generated practice papers are labelled as practice and are not official examination papers. Examination-board materials remain subject to their owners’ terms. Links do not imply an examination board’s endorsement of Fine Academy.

5. User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create or own, subject to third-party rights and applicable law.

You grant Fine Academy only the limited permissions reasonably necessary to host, store, process, display, transmit, and provide services using your content. This permission is subject to our Privacy Policy and any additional permissions you expressly provide.

You must have the necessary rights or permissions to upload, reproduce, edit, print, or share documents, images, videos, recordings, and other materials.

Fine Academy's branding, software, interface, and original platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or commercially exploit protected platform materials without authorisation.

6. Subscriptions, Payments, and Credits

Certain features may require payment, a subscription, or the purchase of usage credits.

Before completing a transaction, we will communicate the applicable price, currency, payment terms, and material conditions.

If a payment or credit package provides promotional value, bonus credits, or a division between purchased value and platform fees, the applicable arrangement must be clearly displayed before payment.

Credits may be subject to stated usage limits, expiry conditions, and feature restrictions. We will not apply undisclosed material restrictions retroactively.

Payments may be processed by authorised third-party payment providers. Fine Academy does not receive or store full payment-card details unless expressly disclosed and appropriately secured.

Subscriptions renew automatically only where this is clearly disclosed and the relevant recurring-payment authorisation has been obtained. Cancellation instructions will be provided for recurring subscriptions.

Refunds will be handled according to the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable consumer-protection law. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Communications and User Interactions

Where messaging, audio calls, video calls, file sharing, or other communication tools are available, users must communicate lawfully and respectfully.

Do not share another person's private information without a lawful basis or appropriate permission. Users should exercise care when communicating with strangers and sharing sensitive documents.

Fine Academy does not guarantee the identity, accuracy, conduct, or reliability of every user or third party on the platform.

8. Document Creation, Printing, and File Processing

Fine Academy may provide tools for preparing documents, booklets, certificates, ID cards, posters, invitations, and other printable materials.

Users are responsible for checking the accuracy of names, dates, figures, formatting, permissions, and other information before printing or distributing materials.

Fine Academy does not authorise users to create fraudulent identity documents, counterfeit certificates, forged records, or other unlawful materials.

Printing results may vary according to the user's printer, paper, software, and device settings.

9. Find My Lost Phone and Location Features

If Fine Academy offers a device-location service, it must be used only for devices you own or are authorised to manage.

Location tracking requires appropriate device setup, permissions, and supported technical integrations. Live tracking cannot be guaranteed when a device is offline, switched off, inaccessible, or unable to transmit location data.

Fine Academy must not be used to stalk, secretly monitor, or track another person without proper authorisation.

Location information will be handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

The current Fine Academy recovery page directs you to Google Find Hub, which verifies ownership and manages recovery. No Fine Academy Android companion or in-app device tracking is currently connected.

10. Third-Party Services

Fine Academy may rely on third-party providers for AI processing, cloud hosting, maps, communications, authentication, payments, analytics, and other functions.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability and performance may be outside our direct control.

We will take reasonable steps to select and manage relevant providers and protect information as required by applicable law.

11. Availability and Changes

We aim to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, operational, or legal reasons. Where a change materially affects users, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate and required by law.

We will not use this clause to remove rights or obligations that applicable law requires us to preserve.

12. Disclaimers and Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fine Academy is provided without a guarantee that every feature will always be available, compatible with every device, or suitable for every individual purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, Fine Academy will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from misuse of the platform, reliance on unverified AI outputs, third-party outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These provisions do not remove any mandatory consumer rights.

13. Suspension and Account Closure

You may stop using Fine Academy and request account deletion through the available account controls or by contacting support.

We may restrict or terminate access for serious violations of these Terms, security risks, unlawful conduct, or other legitimate reasons. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Account closure does not automatically erase records that we are legally required to retain. Any remaining information will be handled under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Complaints and Disputes

If you have a concern, please contact Fine Academy first so that we can attempt to resolve it fairly.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Ghana, subject to mandatory consumer protections and any other applicable legal requirements.

Nothing in this section prevents you from approaching a competent regulator or court, or exercising any right that the law grants you.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our services, technologies, and legal obligations change.

The updated version will be published with a revised effective date. Where required, we will notify users and obtain renewed agreement before implementing material changes.
